Batyline
French made by Ferrari, Batyline® is an extremely durable and long wearing material consisting of a fibre covered by a coating of PVC, making it nearly impossible to tear. Its resilient properties make it an ideal material to be near swimming pools or salt water.
Sagging is minimal as it has a maximum stretch of 3%. It also has a "memory" - it will slowly regain its original shape after it has been used, especially when placed out in the sun, won't rot - 100% synthetic and resistant to rot and mildew.
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is commonly known as rust-free steel (RFS) or Inox. This is a ferrous alloy that increases the corrosion resistance of a substance by the addition of chrome and nickel. The principle is based on protecting the surface area by means of chrome-oxide and nickel- oxide molecules. These molecules are much larger than the underlying iron molecules, which prevents the latter from binding with oxygen and forming iron oxides - better known as rust.
Since stainless steel is not totally impervious to corrosion, it is recommended that the item be cleaned regularly with water and mild soap to prevent any stubborn stains building up. This will minimize the contamination of the surface areas, as well as the risk of contamination of the surface with iron particles, also referred to as “T STAINING”. When cleaning follow the direction of the polish for best results.
