ABOUT THE DESIGN: The OrganicPedic® Lago is a 1-sided, 10-inch sculpted-surface mattress made with a 6-inch core of firm Talalay 100% natural rubber latex under a built-in, sculpted-surface 3½-inch topper made from soft 100%-natural rubber latex. The standard configuration of this product is a medium-firm base with a soft sculpted topper built right into the cover.

ABOUT LATEX IN GENERAL: This 100% natural talalay latex mattress is custom made in Northern California and utilizes all natural materials for the most natural and comfortable sleeping experience. Latex, made from the sap of rubber trees, is the best alternative to standard synthetic foam. There are no chemical additives with this mattress, which means that is is very safe for human contact. It doesn't emit chemical fumes, and they return to their natural elements after disposal.
