Ryan Schultz
Ryan spent nearly his entire youth in Sacramento taking advantage of the abundance of outdoor activities at hand. It was there that he also started both his entrepreneurial and artistic paths. However, it wasn't until he ventured south to study Design and Business at UCLA that his parallel careers began to take off. Before graduating, he helped start up a boutique web and graphic design business, helping them grow into an award winning design house in Los Angeles. After making a name for himself within the Design community, he left the web world in 2005 to pursue Viesso full time.
A fan of photography, fashion and architecture, Ryan gains inspiration from his travels. Cooking and spending weekends with friends allows him to express his love of food and wine. When he’s not working on the next Viesso prototype, you can probably find him hiking in the Sierra Nevadas.
Travis Nagle
Born and raised near Sacramento with his brother Ryan, Travis took an early interest in the world of marketing and branding. He attended UCLA to study Mass Communications, and was involved with numerous internships at advertising agencies in the LA area. Upon graduation, he joined Deutsch Inc. to work in Account Management and New Business. After two years of working on a large international account, and being part of the core team that won several new accounts worth over $300 million combined, a life filled with more challenges and creative freedom beckoned.
In addition to his passion for Viesso, Travis writes and enjoys traveling, music, camping/hiking and playing sports. He loves the variety of urban culture and the many interesting people and conversations that come with it.
Alex Contreras
Born in Venezuela, Alex experienced life in Madrid, Utah and the San Francisco area before finally settling in Los Angeles. He graduated with a B.A. in business/economics from UCLA, and began his career in mortgage banking as a financial analyst. However, his exposure to so many different cultures influenced him, developing into a keen interest in art and design. This inspired him to join the creation of Viesso.
Besides his involvement with Viesso, Alex has continued to build a successful career in the financial arena. Even so, he still has time to develop his other interests, including playing tennis, extensive traveling, interior and architectural design, and of course soccer. Through Viesso, Alex hopes to share his passion for design and style with others.
