While sitting on a bench at one of LA's outdoor malls, staring at one of the furniture industry's behemoth showrooms with homogeneous products, we thought to ourselves, there has to be a better way. Most furniture companies presented their products in an outdated and inefficient fashion, and consumers were forced to settle for products that were generic and didn't fit their specific needs. It became clear we needed to create an innovative process that allowed for maximum customization, with a website and focused showrooms as the core of the company.

With diverse backgrounds, experiences, ideas, and a lot of hard work, we were onto something fresh. After analyzing the available technology and options for furniture materials, we seized an opportunity to create this new way to shop for furniture. In addition, these products were to be built locally and with the fastest lead time possible. We started selling original Viesso products out of our apartments in 2005, opened a showroom a few months later, and have worked continually to manifest the initial idea ever since.

Viesso aims to provide something that breaks the traditional system that seems to dominate the industry, and offer an efficient way for people to express their individuality through custom furnishings. We design our own products, always with the goal of customization, sustainability, and functionality in mind. Viesso believes every customer and every space is unique, and strives to offer the right choices so their individual furniture needs can be met without having to settle for "almost".
